    Pupil Planners:
At the start of each academic year we provide all pupils with a planner which contains information about school procedures, including a diary section for recording homework. Students are expected to bring their planner with them every day and have it out in every lesson.
It’s a useful way for us to communicate with parents/carers as notes can be written in the planner from staff to parents/carers and vice versa.
Form tutors check the planners regularly and we ask that parents/carers sign the planner each week.
If the planner is lost or damaged we will ask parents/carers to pay £5.00 for a replacement planner. Students can collect temporary planner sheets from Pupil Information.

    Homework:
We believe that Homework and independent study encourages better learning habits and equips pupils for making better progress at GCSE, A-Level and beyond. Pupils are asked to do different types of homework which they record in their pupil planner. We provide study facilities after school in the Library for pupils who may find it difficult to do homework at home.
