    Excellent GCSE Results!

We are delighted that once again the hard work and dedication of our students has paid off with some fantastic GCSE results.

62% of students passed both English and maths, with a large proportion of those gaining a strong pass.

A fantastic 36 Grade 9s were awarded to our students this year – 10 of these Grade 9s were across the sciences, 7 in English and 6 in maths.

Consistently high numbers of students were awarded a Grade 4 and above again this year, with 73% in English Literature, 67% in English Language and 70% in maths. The pass rate for EBACC is also 22%

    Outstanding performers are:

    Molly Aitchison – 10 x Grade 9s and 1 x Grade 8

    Shannon Davies – 5 x grade 9, 1 x Grade 8, 1 x Grade 7, 1 x grade 6 and 1 x B

Some of our Year 10 students also collected results today after sitting early entries in GCSE RE and did extremely well with Grade 8s and 7s being awarded to them too.

We are incredibly proud of all our students and teachers who have worked tirelessly to achieve these fantastic results, which can sit alongside our equally brilliant A-Level results this year.
