Brigshaw is well served by school and public transport services.
School service buses run to and from Brigshaw serving Kippax, Methley, Micklefield, Ledston, and Swillington. These buses drop off and pick up on the school site.
Regular service buses to and from Castleford and Leeds (163, 166, 167, 168) stop a short walk from the school.
To find out up to date timetable information and bus routes click here and enter the bus service number into the search, for example: 163, 504, 918 etc.
NB: Home-school transport is arranged through Education Leeds.
To apply for a photocard please follow this link.
We would like to encourage more pupils to walk or cycle to school. Not only is it healthier, it is more environmentally friendly to do so. Cycle shelters are available for pupils to use (locked 9am-3pm). For safety reasons, cyclists should access the school grounds via the bottom gate and access road.
Pupils can obtain travel cards, which may entitle them to free or discounted travel. To apply for discounted travel, you can download the application form from this site.
You can find out everything you need to know about school transport by visiting Generation M (Click on ‘B’ and scroll down the page to Brigshaw).
We also operate a link-service for Post 16 students between Brigshaw and Temple Moor.
